A new chapter has been written in the history of Mongolian aquatic sports.

For the first time, the Mongolian national team participated in the Open Water Swimming discipline at the “Singapore 2025” World Aquatics Championships, competing in the 4 x 1500-meter team relay event.

In this competition, Sports Master G. Sugar, Sports Master A. Altannar, Sports Master T. Anungoo, and Candidate Sports Master G. Maidar raced under the guidance of coaches Ts. Bayaraa and E. Démuul.

Our athletes completed the relay with a time of 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 48 seconds, setting a new national record for Mongolia in this distance and category.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and deep gratitude to the athletes, coaches, team members, parents, and guardians who made this achievement possible in the World Championship’s open water swimming event.

The glory of an athlete is never easily earned.
