E. Erkhes and B. Maral broke the Mongolian national records 8 times

The Mongolian national team athletes achieved outstanding results at the “USA Swimming Speedo Sectional – 2026,” which was held in Indianapolis, USA, from March 26–29, 2026.

International Master of Sports E. Erkhes set six new Mongolian national records in the 50 m backstroke, 100 m backstroke, 50 m freestyle, and 50 m butterfly (50 m pool). In addition, he won 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the competition.

Athlete B. Maral from the “Selem Zagas” Club also set new Mongolian national records (50 m pool) on the first day of the “USA Swimming Speedo Sectional 2026.” In the preliminary heats, she recorded a time of 2:45.12 in the 200 m breaststroke and 1:15.03 in the 100 m breaststroke, both of which became new national records.

Both athletes are currently studying at the SPIRE Academy in the United States.
