BAHRAIN 2025: MONGOLIAN SWIMMER E. ERKHES WINS SILVER MEDAL At the swimming events of the “Bahrain 2025” 3rd Asian Youth Games, young Mongolian swimmers achieved a historic milestone. A total of 18 of Mongolia’s top young swimmers, accompanied by 4 coaches, participated in the competition.
International Master of Sport Erkhtör Enkhtör’s son, Erkhes won the silver medal in the 50m Backstroke, marking the highest achievement in the history of Mongolian aquatic sports. A total of 32 swimmers competed in the 50m Backstroke event, where E. Erkhes secured the silver medal in the final with an impressive time of 25.98 seconds. Singaporean swimmer Chan Tedd won gold with a time of 25.79 seconds, breaking the Asian Youth Games record, while Chang Kai-Yue of Chinese Taipei claimed bronze with 26.17 seconds. Additionally, Master of Sport E. Enkhmend set a new Mongolian national record in the 50m pool for the 100m Breaststroke, finishing in 1:04.77 and placing 4th in the final, achieving an excellent result.
