On February 26-29, 2024, the best 21 young Mongolian athletes participated in the Asian Age Group Championship held in New Clark, Philippines, and successfully concluded the competition.
On the last day of the 11th Asian Age Group Championships, three more athletes qualified for the finals.
Mongolian youth team athlete E.Erkhes qualified for the finals in the 200m backstroke and took the 6th place. With his result in this final, he renewed the National record with time of 2:10.64 minutes.
On the last day of the 11th Asian Age Group Championships, Mongolian youth team athlete A. Altannar qualified for the finals in the 800m freestyle and took 7th place with a time of 09:54.81 minutes.
On the last day of the 11th Asian Age Group Championships, the athlete of the Mongolian youth team N. Bilguun, qualified for the finals in the 50m butterfly event and took 7th place with a time of 27.09 seconds.
The Mongolian Youth Team successfully completed the competition and brought home the first Double Bronze Medal in the history of Mongolian Aquatic sports.
