1. COMPETITION INFORMATION

Competition: Mongolia Aquatics National 4×4 Water Polo Championship 2026

Purpose: To promote the development of 4×4 water polo in Mongolia, increase the participation of new players and teams, encourage competition between clubs, and establish a national competition system.

Competition Dates: 7–8 November 2026

Venue: Bayangol District Swimming Pool, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Depending on the number of participating teams, the match draw will be conducted by lot during the Team Leaders’ Meeting on 6 November 2026.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1. The Mongolia Aquatics National 4×4 Water Polo Championship 2026 shall be organized in accordance with the Mongolia Aquatics 4×4 Water Polo Competition Rules and these Competition Regulations.

2.2. The competition shall be conducted in the 4×4 water polo format.

2.3. The competition shall be held in the men’s team category.

2.4. The main feature of 4×4 water polo is that each team has four players in the water during play, consisting of three field players and one goalkeeper.

2.5. In accordance with the WP4 format, each team may register up to eight players in total.

2.6. Depending on the number of participating teams, the competition shall be conducted using a group-stage and knockout-stage system.

2.7. The final competition format and group allocation shall be presented and confirmed at the Technical Meeting.

3. AGE REQUIREMENTS

3.1. Players aged 14 years and above are eligible to participate in the competition.

3.2. A player’s age shall be calculated as of 31 December 2026.

3.3. Only players who meet the above age requirement shall be eligible to participate in the competition.

3.4. The organizers may request a national identity card, birth certificate, passport, or other relevant documents to verify a player’s age.

3.5. If a player intentionally provides false information regarding their age or submits forged documents, the player and their team may be disqualified from the competition, and the case shall be referred to the Mongolia Aquatics Ethics Committee for further consideration.

4. COMPETITION REGISTRATION

4.1. Clubs/teams that meet the following requirements are eligible to participate in the competition.

Registration Fee:

One team: MNT 100,000

4.2. The registration fee shall be transferred to the Mongolia Aquatics bank account through the club to which the team belongs.

4.3. The team registration form must include the following information:

Team name

Team leader

Coach

Names of players

Dates of birth of players

Player cap numbers

Goalkeeper information

Contact telephone number

Email address

4.5. The registration form can be downloaded from www.mongoliaaquatics.mn, under “Competition Schedule” → “4×4 Water Polo” → “National Championship” → “Download Entry Form.”

4.6. The registration form must be completed using Latin characters only and submitted to the Mongolia Aquatics email address, secretariat@mongoliaaquatics.mn, no later than 23:59 on 31 October 2026.

4.7. The final list of participating teams shall be published five days before the competition begins.

4.8. After the information has been published, each team leader is responsible for carefully checking the registration details of their team’s players and immediately notifying the organizers of any errors caused by the organizers.

4.9. All team leaders are required to attend the Technical Meeting.
