The schedule for the 2026 World Cup has been announced

The 2025 Swimming World Cup series was successfully held in two North American countries—the United States and Canada. In this series, nine athletes represented Mongolia at the second stop, World Cup – Westmont 2025, while five athletes successfully competed at the third stop, World Cup – Toronto 2025.

Meanwhile, the 2026 Swimming World Cup series will take place in three East Asian countries. These three events will serve as major test competitions ahead of the 18th World Swimming Championships (25m), which will be held in Beijing.

Stop 1 – Baku, Azerbaijan | October 1–3, 2026

The World Cup tour will begin in Baku. Located on the western edge of the Silk Road along the Caspian Sea, Baku has historically been a major hub for caravans transporting silk, spices, and other goods to Europe. Its rich history of trade and cultural exchange aligns perfectly with the international spirit of the Swimming World Cup. In addition to being the first stop of the 2026 World Cup, Baku will also be the first city in Azerbaijan to host a world-level swimming competition.

Stop 2 – Tashkent, Uzbekistan | October 8–10, 2026

Situated at the heart of the Silk Road, Tashkent has long been a center of trade and cultural interaction spanning many centuries. Its merchant markets, caravanserais, and historical monuments reflect the city’s rich legacy as a link between East and West. As the second stop of the tour, it is an ideal gathering place for swimmers from around the world. Tashkent previously hosted the Artistic Swimming World Cup for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018.

Stop 3 – Astana, Kazakhstan | October 15–17, 2026

The third stop of the series will be Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Historically part of the northern Silk Road route, the region has now developed into a modern center of international relations. Astana will host an exciting finale to the Swimming World Cup’s three-week Silk Road tour.
